Are you emotionally drained from holding everything together? You may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, or feeling like you're “too much.” I help young adults understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and disconnected. Together, we’ll make sense of your inner life, relationships, and the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself over time. My style, is compassionate, collaborative, and engaged. It's important to me that we create a relationship where all parts of you feel welcome and safe enough to make the changes you want. I’ve trained in relational psychodynamic therapy with children and adults, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. I believe our early relationships shape us and that healing happens through new relational experiences. In our work, we'll make space to be curious about feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and dynamics that often happen out of awareness. You're welcome to contact me here to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. I’ll reply within 24 hours. You can also book time directly through the link on my own website. I’m a licensed therapist who works with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and times when you just feel stuck or unsure about what’s next. I aim to provide a steady, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel heard without judgment. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting—therapy can be a place to sort things out as you go. I see therapy as a collaborative and practical process. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you better understand what’s getting in your way. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and work toward meaningful, realistic change. I often use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build tools you can actually use day to day—whether that’s managing stress, getting out of your own head, or feeling more confident in your decisions. We can take things at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I began my career doing street outreach with individuals experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC. That experience shaped how I approach this work today—it taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, showing up consistently, and creating a space built on respect and trust. Outside of therapy, I enjoy going to the movies with friends, staying active, and spending time in the park. I also like trying new restaurants around the city.
My client may be a person who currently feels stuck in their life, or dealing with chronic health issues, issues related to school, coming out, or dealing with depression and anxiety. They are seeking to feel better emotionally, function better in their lives, and connect to others in a more meaningful way. I honor the uniqueness of my patients and celebrate the qualities which make them particularly remarkable. I work with patients to achieve more satisfaction from their lives and choices, and provide them with support and practical feedback to assist in helping them resolve current problems and long-standing maladaptive patterns. My focus is to work collaboratively with my patients to help get them to their ideal level of functioning, and foster growth and personal development in a supportive and judgement-free environment. We can develop skills to deal more effectively with overwhelming feelings, identify your strengths, and work together to overcome challenges in your life. I look forward to speaking with you, and discussing how we can work interactively so that you can better navigate your way forward, and get to a more fulfilling level of functioning.
My clients describe me as warm, empathetic, intuitive and easy to talk to. I believe therapy is a unique experience and I work with you to tailor the treatment to your individual needs. I utilize techniques ranging from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), reiki and talk therapy. Prior to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I worked in NYC public schools as a School Counselor for about 10 years. I have extensive knowledge in dealing with all types of school issues and working with families. I specialized in college transition and managing college as a first-generation college student. I look forward to meeting you!

I am an insight-oriented, person-centered, and sex-positive therapist who leads with curiosity. I see clients of all identities, and I specialize in the care and unique needs of queer, kinky, and nonmonogamous people, as well as those with a background in sex work. I am skilled in helping clients navigate issues related to gender identity, sexuality, alternative relationship structures, life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and attachment ruptures. My work in general psychotherapy and sex therapy is trauma-informed and driven by principles of consent. I will meet you where you are on your journey in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. My practice is guided by values of anti-oppression, and I actively consider the impact of positionality and power dynamics throughout my life. I am a graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, with a specialized certificate in Gender and Sexuality. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 12 years working in theatre; I integrate my experience working in artist care into my practice as a holistic-minded clinician. I see adult clients on an individual basis and in relationship structures of two or more. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own experiences, and that my role as a therapist is to use my clinical presence to help us both understand you better. Our work together focuses on discovering patterns and connections, while utilizing our mutual insight. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Are you navigating life between two worlds, balancing family and cultural expectations with your own sense of self? Perhaps you're a child of immigrants, first-generation, or someone far from home asking deeper questions about who you are and where you belong. I'm a bilingual (English/Tagalog) psychotherapist specializing in depth-oriented, Jungian therapy. I work with Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, immigrants, and first-generation individuals doing the meaningful, sometimes difficult work of building an authentic identity, one that honors where they come from while making room for who they are becoming. My approach is exploratory and relational. Drawing from Jungian psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic awareness, I work with the unconscious patterns, cultural conditioning, and intergenerational stories that shape your present life. This includes dream work, active imagination, and close attention to the body's wisdom alongside the mind's. If this resonates, I'd love to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — reach out and let's talk. I also offer Walk & Talk therapy for clients in the Cupertino and Silicon Valley area - sessions conducted outdoors in nature for those who find that movement supports their process. Ask me about it when you reach out.
I work with clients who struggle with anxiety or depression and feel these issues have interfered with their potential. Together, we will identify obstacles and review goals to create a treatment plan that respects your strengths. To measure your overall progress, I encourage incorporating your feedback to reflect on what works well and what can be improved. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a Psychodynamic approach to establish objectives, explore connections between thoughts and feelings, and develop insight into underlying issues. Over the course of therapy, I support you as you learn to challenge and change thinking patterns while recognizing how resurfacing relational experiences impact your well-being.
Hi, I'm Kelsey (she/her)! Whatever brings you here, whether it's anxiety, relationship patterns, self-exploration, disordered eating, obsessive thoughts, family dynamics, or a life transition you didn't expect, you deserve a place where all of it can be explored honestly. Patients of all identities are warmly welcomed in my place of care. With a particular passion for supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, I recognize how gender, race, sexuality, and privilege shape your mental health and lived experience. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to building a strong therapeutic alliance, because understanding the relationships we hold in our lives begins with the relationship we build together. This space is one of open communication and reflection, where your unique experiences are met with authenticity and curiosity. I take a holistic and person-centered approach to your care, drawing from psychodynamic theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic work. These evidence-based frameworks come together in a way that is tailored to you, your story, and what you need most right now. Getting to know you as a whole person is something I genuinely look forward to. We'll move at a pace that feels right, and our work will reflect your goals every step of the way. The path that brought me to this work is a personal one. My own experience in therapy showed me firsthand how impactful attunement and the therapeutic relationship can be, and that experience planted the seed for everything that followed. As a queer clinician, supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community carries deep meaning for me. Eating disorders and the intersection of that experience with co-occurring conditions are also areas of personal interest and clinical focus. Understanding how these experiences layer and inform one another shapes the depth of care I bring to each patient I work with. Outside of the therapy room, photography is one of my favorite creative outlets, helping to ground me and keep me present.

Based on my experience, the students I work most effectively with often face similar challenges, especially as they adapt to college life and cope with stress or feeling overwhelmed. These individuals tend to find value in receiving support and guidance while adjusting to the demands of their new academic and social surroundings. I've found that my approach works best for those who are looking for practical ways to manage stress, improve time management, and build resilience in both academic and personal aspects of their lives. Through establishing a supportive and understanding therapeutic connection as well as medication management, my goal is to empower students to tackle their college journey with confidence and strength.
We are a team of therapists who work with students and young adults navigating stress, identity, and the feeling of having to hold everything together. Many of the students we support are balancing different expectations from family, culture, and their own goals. Some feel caught between different worlds, while others find themselves overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling disconnected from who they are. As a team, we are especially attuned to the experiences of students from multicultural, international, and Asian or Asian American backgrounds. We understand how identity, family dynamics, and expectations can shape the way you move through the world. In this Kind Space, your voice is valued, your story is honored, and every part of you is welcomed. Together, we work to uncover what matters most, address challenges in a way that feels authentic, and build strategies that help you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to yourself.
